Video showing mouse and tablet pen interactions
DESCRIPTION
Kolour Paint tries to interpret position of the mouse cursor when using a
tablet pen, and both are connected.
This displays differently depending on the exact position of the mouse cursor,
but I believe they are the same bug.
When the mouse cursor is outside of the KolourPaint: The drawn tablet pen line
tries to "reach" for it, thus making sudden long lines, and will scroll a large
canvas in the direction of the mouse cursor.
When the mouse cursor is on the canvas of KolourPaint, if you leave the
paintable canvas, the line will "jump" and connect to the position of the mouse
cursor, despite not lifting the tablet pen up.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Version 1:
1. Have both a Digital drawing tablet and standard mouse connected
2. Open Kolour Paint
3. Make the canvas larger than the size of the window
4. Look to the top left of the blank canvas
5. Position the mouse cursor to the right of the window - but not on it
6. With the tablet pen, start drawing a line around the canvas
Version 2:
1. Have both a Digital drawing tablet and standard mouse connected
2. Open Kolour Paint
3. Position the mouse cursor over the paintable canvas
4. With the tablet pen, start drawing a line
5. Without lifting the tablet pen up, leave the canvas and come back onto it
OBSERVED RESULT
Version 1:
The line warps and forcibly scrolls over the whole canvas in the direction of
the mouse cursor
Version 2:
The line randomly jumps to the position of the mouse cursor, creating extra
lines
EXPECTED RESULT
To be able to use tools without the canvas view changing dramatically or
drawing lines I did not do
