Bug ID: 520202
Summary: Some notifications don't disappear
Classification: Applications
Product: kdeconnect
Version First 26.04.0
Reported In:
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: desktop-application
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
While most notifications disappear after some time, others stay up on the
screen indefinitely such as Incoming Calls and Missed Calls. Meaning that if
someone calls on a phone which is connected to KDE Connect, the desktop app
will display a notification and never make it disappear on its own.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Establish the connection between Android smartphone and Linux desktop via
KDE Connect.
2. Get a phone call, and don't answer it.
OBSERVED RESULT
KDE Connect on desktop will display a notification informing of the incoming
call on the Android smartphone. Then, after not answering the call, KDE Connect
on desktop will display a missed call notification. Both of those will remain
on display and never go away on their own.
EXPECTED RESULT
The "Incoming call" and "Missed call" notifications should go away after a few
seconds like the other notifications (such as the ones you get when you get an
email, text message, or other).
