            Bug ID: 520318
Summary: Cannot edit files + display quirks
    Classification: Applications
           Product: okteta
      Version First 0.26.27
       Reported In:
          Platform: Debian testing
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
Okteta does not let me edit files. I can load files correctly (compared to
hexedit) and can read them. However, I cannot edit the files in insert or
overwrite mode. The program is simply unresponsive to my key presses except for
the arrow keys, backspace and delete key. Backspace and delete remove bytes in
insert mode but do nothing in overwrite.

On a suggestion, I moved ~/.config/oktetarc and restarted Okteta. The program
again loads, apparently with default settings, but component titles have labels
reading "Fi&lesystem" and "Bi&nary Filter." This leads me to believe that there
may be a mismatch between the underlying KDE libraries and Okteta.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
I don't know. I asked the Internet and I seem to be the only person in recorded
history with this problem.
