TBH, this sounds like a manufacturer trying to be too smart for their own good,
or maybe only caring about the average user from their own perspective. On
Windows, Meta+Shift+S is the shortcut for launching Windows' screenshot app
while PrintScreen does the old fashioned bitmap to clipboard thing. You have to
use a Logitech app on Windows to make it use PrintScreen. I'm not sure if
there's an alternative for Linux.
