We've seen this a few months ago with bug 508697 but weren't able to narrow down the cause. Can you run these in your terminal, to get us some logs: export QT_LOGGING_RULES="*=true" dolphin -b -n &> ~/logs.txt Then reproduce the issue and quit Dolphin.
