Why? The "Paste" feature isn't standardized; what you're asking for would have to be implemented in literally every app in the world. Obviously, that's not gonna happen! This is why we have the Meta+V popup instead; with this, such a feature can be implemented centrally: you Press Meta+V, select your item, and then paste it where you want. In the future it will auto-paste into the active text field on click, providing more or less what you want but from this UI rather than in-app menus and buttons. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
