Alt-Tab back out. 3. Place mouse pointer over the game icon in the taskbar 4. Wait until the thumbnail preview pops up 5. Right click the game icon, move your mouse up to the popup menu, click close. The above might work for other windows too but I haven't really got to try it since it works here now with the above code. The other reproducer mentioned here is "harder" (at least for me) but it happens if you move around the thumbnails for your open programs then move the mouse directly from the thumbnail to the desktop without touching anything else.
