DESCRIPTION
The akonadi imap resource seems to spend 100% of CPU permanently, possibly
constantly resyncing the emails? But all of the emails seem to be synced
already, so no idea, why it is triggering a full resync.
I have been experiencing this for a few months at this point.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have a posteo.de account with about 100000 emails in different folders
2. Have akonadi running for some time
OBSERVED RESULT
100% CPU on akonadi. Status seems to say "Syncing folder INBOX".
EXPECTED RESULT
Folders get synced and only need small updates and CPU usage is below 100%.
