Richard Bos <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #3 from Richard Bos <[email protected]> --- I miss Ksnip's awesome tab functionality in Spectacle as well. The tab functionality allows me to take a snapshot and move on with what I was doing, to process the screenshot(s) later. For example when following a company broadcast, a presentation, training and the like. Also when doing an investigation into a technical issue, looking back in time, it is easy to take a screenshot, annotate it with a timestamp and carrying on with the investigation. Later the captures screenshots can be put in a story/report/email. Tabs make Ksnip awesome, and would make Spectacle awesome RAM wise I never had any issues with many tabs having each a screenshot in Ksnip, at least not I can remember. As Ksnip is QT based is that a good reference for the RAM usage? It seems no problem. Would it be possible to create 2 versions of Spectacle, both using the same Spectacle core? One Spectacle being the current one, and another one with an interface like Ksnip. Last thing Ksnip can be launched from the systray. It is convenient to have Ksnip here. It tells me that it is active and if I took screenshots before, I know that they're still there. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
