--- Comment #4 from [email protected] --- >Just to make sure, by 'encrypted' you mean that you defined 'smb_encrypt' for >the share like this? No the partition on the NAS is encrypted. There was no issue accessing it through SMB4K previously. Just set the location, credentials and I was able to read/write to it as normal. >As I can see, you used the Zeroconf URL (XYZ.local/...). Did this work before? >What happens if you omit the suffix '.local'? Yes it worked previously. I omitted the local and tried setting up a a new mount (with Open Mount Dialog) using the IP //<ip address>/home/Files - which gave the same error. >In Smb4K, the setting 'Mounting' > 'Advanced Mount Settings' > 'SMB protocol >version' is set to 'default (Negotiate the highest version)'. Yes I did a little more digging. It seems that I was previously about to mount a directory on the NAS whereas the other mounts where from the ROOT directory. So Mounted on: /run/smbk4k/<user>/<IP Address>/Shared Multimedia (non-encrypted) mounted from: //<IP Address/Shared Multimedia -works And mounted on: /run/smbk4k/<user>/<IP Address>/home/Files (encrypted) mounted from: //<IP Address>/home/Files -Doesn't work mounted on: /run/smbk4k/<user>/<IP Address>/home (encrypted and omitting directory "Files") mounted from: //<IP Address>/home -Works -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
