Noah Davis <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|--- |DUPLICATE Status|REPORTED |RESOLVED --- Comment #2 from Noah Davis <[email protected]> --- This is a duplicate of bug 519107. Could you report a bug to Kubuntu/Ubuntu about this? OpenCV is not a required dependency of KQuickImageEditor, but it is strongly recommended and the CMake file for KQuickImageEditor sends a message that it is recommended when KQuickImageEditor is not built with OpenCV. The non-OpenCV stack blur algorithm used in version 0.6.1 of KQuickImageEditor does not support alpha, which is why the shadows are black. This is considered our bug, but it would be good if Kubuntu/Ubuntu changed their KQuickImageEditor package to use OpenCV. Debian has already done this, so it may just be a matter of waiting for an update, but things might move more quickly for you if you report the issue to Kubuntu/Ubuntu. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 519107 *** -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
