Hello, sorry for the delay in responding. Here is the list of dates by
category and mobility status.

- National Public Holidays
These are mandatory non-working days nationwide that occur on the exact
same date every year.
· January 1: Año Nuevo (New Year's Day)
· January 22: Día de la Fundación del Estado Plurinacional (Plurinational
State Foundation Day)
· May 1: Día del Trabajo (Labor Day)
· June 21: Año Nuevo Andino, Amazónico y del Chaco (Andean-Amazonian New
Year / Winter Solstice)
· August 6: Día de la Independencia de Bolivia (Independence Day)
· November 2: Día de Todos los Santos (All Saints' Day)
· December 25: Navidad (Christmas Day)
- National Public Holidays (Movable / Easter-dependent)
These are mandatory non-working days nationwide. Their dates change every
year based on the liturgical calendar (Easter Sunday).
· Lunes de Carnaval (Carnival Monday): 48 days before Easter Sunday.
· Martes de Carnaval (Carnival Tuesday): 47 days before Easter Sunday.
· Viernes Santo (Good Friday): 2 days before Easter Sunday.
· Corpus Christi: 60 days after Easter Sunday.
- Regional / Departmental Holidays
These are non-working days ONLY in their respective departments (Efemérides
Departamentales). They occur on fixed dates every year.
· February 10: Revolución de Oruro (Oruro Department only)
· April 15: Batalla de la Tablada (Tarija Department only)
· May 25: Primer Grito Libertario (Chuquisaca Department only)
· July 16: Revolución de La Paz (La Paz Department only)
· September 14: Revolución de Cochabamba (Cochabamba Department only)
· September 24: Revolución de Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz Department only)
· September 24: Creación de Pando (Pando Department only)
· November 10: Grito Libertario (Potosí Department only)
· November 18: Creación de Beni (Beni Department only)
- Civic Dates and Commemorations
These occur on the exact same date every year.
· March 6: Creación de la ciudad de El Alto (El Alto City creation)
· March 19: Día del Padre (Father's Day)
· March 23: Día del Mar (Day of the Sea)
· April 12: Día del Niño Boliviano (Children's Day)
· May 24: Día Nacional contra el Racismo y toda forma de Discriminación
(National Day against Racism)
· May 27: Día de la Madre Boliviana (Mother's Day)
· June 6: Día del Maestro Boliviano (Teacher's Day)
· August 17: Día de la Bandera (Flag Day)
· October 11: Día de la Mujer Boliviana (Bolivian Women's Day)
- Popular, Cultural, and Religious Festivals
Major traditional and religious festivals that happen on the same date
every year.
· January 24: Fiesta de las Alasitas (Mainly in La Paz)
· May 3: Fiesta de la Cruz / Tinku (Andean cross festival)
· June 23: Noche de San Juan (St. John's Eve)
· August 5: Fiesta de la Virgen de Copacabana (Patroness of Bolivia)
· August 15: Festividad de la Virgen de Urkupiña (Major religious festival
in Cochabamba)
· August 24: Fiesta de San Bartolomé / Ch'utillos (Major folklore festival
in Potosí)
- Popular and Cultural Festivals (Movable Rules)
These festivals change dates every year depending on specific rules (either
related to specific weekdays of a month or to Easter).
· Pujillay (Tarabuco): Occurs on the 3rd Sunday of March.
· Festividad del Señor Jesús del Gran Poder (La Paz): Occurs on the
Saturday after Trinity Sunday (which translates mathematically to 62 days
after Easter Sunday).
· Fiesta de San Roque (Tarija): The main procession starts on the 1st
Sunday of September.
