This is a different issue. This bug is for the window freezing and pairing failing. It's unknown if bluetoothctl was also failing or successful. Your bug is about the pairing being successful with bluetoothctl but the Bluetooth applet fails to pair the device (no freeze). Please create a new bug report so we can investigate.
