Summary: KWin crashes intermittently on idle timeout screen lock, but not on
manual lock (Meta-L)
Key finding: Crash is in DrmLutColorOp32::program() →
DrmAbstractColorOp::matchPipeline() → DrmPipeline::testPresent(), triggered by
a Qt render loop timer
Driver: nvidia-open-driver-G07-610.43.02 which newly introduced DRM color
pipeline support
Workaround being tested: options nvidia-drm color_pipeline=0 in modprobe config
Environment: openSUSE Tumbleweed, KWin 6.6.5, KDE Plasma 6.6.5, Wayland, AMD
CPU, NVIDIA 4070
Note: KWIN_DRM_NO_ATOMIC=1 does not prevent the crash despite being present in
KWin's environment
The crash can be reproduced every time.
