Bug ID: 520853
Summary: Weirdly high saturation when playing some videos
Classification: Applications
Product: dragonplayer
Version First 25.04.0
Reported In:
Platform: Debian stable
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected], [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
When playing some video files, the saturation is weirdly boosted. The issue was
not present when I tested using Big Buck Bunny, but it always happens when I
play screen captures from Spectacle (v6.3.5). Using the video preview from
within Spectacle, there is no issue.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Record a screen capture using Spectacle
2. Play the screen capture using Dragon Player
OBSERVED RESULT
Colors are boosted, and grays appear more green (I think)
EXPECTED RESULT
Colors within the screen capture should appear identical to the captured
content when played from Dragon Player
