DESCRIPTION
When using the Arrow tool in the Spectacle annotation editor with shadow
enabled, the shadow drawn under the arrow does not follow the arrow's shape.
Instead, it appears as a simple black rectangle surrounding the arrow. The
issue is observed in both Wayland and X11 sessions. The bug is still present
even after updating to the latest versions of KDE Plasma 6.6.4 and Spectacle
available in Ubuntu 26.04 LTS as of 2026/06/01. This is likely either a
regression or a separate undocumented bug.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Spectacle in a Wayland or X11 session.
2. Take a screenshot (any area or full screen).
3. Click the "Edit" button to open the annotation editor.
4. Draw an arrow with shadow enabled.
OBSERVED RESULT
The shadow drawn under the arrow has a rectangular shape (a black or dark
rectangle) instead of matching the arrow's shape.
EXPECTED RESULT
The shadow should exactly follow the outline of the drawn arrow and look like a
normal soft shadow, not a rectangular area.
