DESCRIPTION
I noticed that the description for an application name seems to be favored over
the application name when searching within the Application Launcher widget in
KDE Plasma 6.3.6.
I utilize Ente Photos and Ente Auth. When searching for Ente, the first result
is "Ente Photos", but very quickly the descriptions are searched and the first
option becomes "Discover", as the description is "Software C**ente**r" which
matches the search for Ente.
As I am searching for Ente and not Software Center, I suggest that the search
prioritizes full-name hits (Ente Photos should be a stronger match for Ente
than Software Center description) or prioritize names over descriptions as an
option.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install an Ente product
2. Search in the Application Launcher for the installed Ente application
3. Find that Discover has taken priority over Ente
OBSERVED RESULT
Discover takes priority over Ente Photos and Ente Auth
EXPECTED RESULT
Ente Photos and Ente Auth should have a stronger priority than Discover when
searching for Ente
