            Bug ID: 520931
Summary: Immediately abort recording when PipeWire errors
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Spectacle
      Version First 6.6.5
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: General
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
Sometimes when PipeWire gives this error (which is happening annoyingly a lot
recently):

pw.context: params Spa:Enum:ParamId:EnumFormat: 0:0 Invalid argument (input
format (no more input formats))

I think it should immediately abort recording with an error message instead of
pretending it's recording while it's actually not.

I can see in the logs it shows the error (with journalctl -f) right after
starting recording, but only shows the error "Failed to export video: Temporary
file URL must be an existing local file" after stopping the recording.

This has annoyed me a lot because I started recording a clip only to find out
it didn't save.
