Bug ID: 520947
Summary: A signed pdf is not considered as signed
Classification: Applications
Product: okular
Version First 23.08.5
Reported In:
Platform: Ubuntu
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: PDF backend
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
I use an external tool to sign pdf documents. For these tool, I can define a
text tag ({{#"ID":"Signer1","Size":{"Height":"70","Width":"200"}#}}) in the pdf
to include a visual representation of the signature.
If the document contains the tag, the produced pdf contains a field with a
signature image and okular recognizes correctly that it contains a signature
and a certificate.
If the document doesn't contains the tag, the produced pdf doesn't contains a
signature image and okular says the field is not signed. But in reality, the
document is well signed and validated by official tools like
https://signing.fts.bosa.belgium.be/validate?language=en or edge on windows.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
For privacy, I can send by email a "good" and a "bad" pdf with my personal
citizen certificate.
OBSERVED RESULT
Field is considered as not signed
EXPECTED RESULT
