I was waiting that UI action would follow the same pattern as in the icon view, where the keyboard action is bound to a toggle function. In the slide show if you want to remove the pick label or the current rating value (rejected or *), you have to press ALT-0 or CTRL-0 instead of the ALT-1 or CTRL-1. The usefulness of the toggle function comes into action when I have bound these to a one-key alternative.
