            Bug ID: 521012
Summary: "Enter SSH Credentials" dialog should specify what app
                    or service is triggering it
    Classification: I don't know
           Product: kde
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
If an app or service requests administrative privileges, I'll see a dialog that
says "Enter SSH Credentials: [sudo] password for (my username):" However from
this dialog I have no way of knowing what app or service is actually requesting
administrative privileges - it could be something I have installed that needs
to update, or it could be malware. It would be nice if this dialog could tell
me what's requesting the privileges, so I know whether it's a legitimate
request, similar to the Windows UAC dialog.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Perform an action that requires administrative privileges.

OBSERVED RESULT
A dialog appears asking for administrative privileges without identifying what
app or service is making the request.

EXPECTED RESULT
The dialog should identify which app or service is requesting administrative
privileges.
