I was drawing with my brush tool and the strokes stopped showing up on the
canvas.
*The brush tool was selected and not set to eraser
*The stylus was still working and clicking fine
*nothing was selected (used cmd ‘D’ and couldn’t Select> Deselect) and the
layer was unlocked and the brush color was visible
*I could see and unsee the layers, but no strokes, lines, shapes, or text would
show up anymore no matter what layer was selected.
*When using transform tool, message said “cannot move empty layer” when layer
had things in it.
*I opened up another file and brush tool worked fine.
*Problem still persisted in the first file.
*I just used the Wand tool and it recognized the strokes in the layer again
*move/transform tools working again
