There's a few more conditions that need to be met; I can trigger it with Favorites set to grid display and other pages set to list view, but not if all are set to grid view. But I can reproduce it now, and that should give me a chance to figure out what's wrong. No guarantees, but I'll try to investigate in time for 6.7.0.
