Here's how I imagine this working. You have some files 00 through 99 and some
script working on them sequentially and you are watching this directory in
Dolphin. Let's say files 00 through 09 are visible in the main window to begin
with. Your script starts and modifies file 00. A little visual indicator
appears to indicate this file has just been modified/created. The script
proceeds through 01,02,03 etc, each time a little indicator appears on a file
just as it is changed until ... it reaches and modifies 10. 10 is not visible
in the main window at the moment so once it has been modified Dolphin would
automatically scroll the window putting 10 at the top and ping the same file
modified indicator on 10. The script proceeds onto 11 and so on and so on. I've
no idea if this would be at all useful, but it would be extremely fun and
satisfying to watch, sorting by modified just doesn't have the same feel.
