            Bug ID: 521108
Summary: Screen freezes for couple seconds when I click desktop
icon in tray. kwin_wayland[*]: The main thread was
                    hanging temporarily!

           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.6.5
       Reported In:
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general

  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
I do not remember making any related configuration changes, but after last few
updates, i have started noticing issue of freezing screen when i click icon in
the system tray area to display desktop (bring active app windows to the
background). Freeze happens for around 3 seconds. And only when desktop is
viewed, not vice-versa. Sometimes appears error:
kwin_wayland[2059]: The main thread was hanging temporarily!
(sudo journalctl -xef)

AI suggested only:

1. echo 'export KWIN_DEBUG=1' >> ~/.profile
2. logout # which i do not want to do to avoid excessive logging and because i
am running many apps, but if you can not reproduce this and there is no other
way i will do it
3. journalctl -f | grep kwin
4. click desktop icon in tray

I suppose that this is risky regarding termination of running apps?
KWIN_DEBUG=1 kwin_wayland --replace &> /dev/null & disown $!

Any more ideas?
