Ole <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from Ole <[email protected]> --- I have the same issue on Wayland with Nvidia GPU, so I don't think that part is relevant. Only thing to fix it, is to run "systemctl restart --user plasma-plasmashell" in the terminal when it happens, then it takes some seconds before it restarts. I have tried to find logs and tried to run strace but can't really get any information out of it. Nothing in syslog, nothing in journalctl, nothing in dmesg. Don't know where to look anymore. Panel(s) all freeze, desktop also freezes I think (I run desktop mode without folder view or anything fancy). System works, opened apps works. Reproduce the freezes can be anything from hovering the icons, or clicking the clock, task bar icons, or even start menu. It's very random when it kicks in, but it does several times a day. I have tried to clean up some root level configs, then recreated KDE related user .configs. It didn't help.
