You can check by clicking on the "Filter" button after you've changed > folders just to double check how you are searching, it's not easy to see > otherwise. I just tried recreating again what you described – and it still works on my machine. I need to describe it in words, because, for some reason, if I take a screenshot of Dolphin that search dropdown does not show in the screenshot. 1) go to folder that is not indexed¹ 2) Ctrl+f 3) click “Everywhere” 4) click “Filter” – I see both “Filenames and content” and “File indexing” as clickable options, and indeed pre-selected 5) search for something (e.g. “Matija”) and it works snappy and as expected 1) go to folder that is not indexed¹ 2) Ctrl+f 3) make sure that “Only here” is selected 4) click “Filter” – the “Indexed” selection is, as you describe, grayed out 5) I search for something that should require Baloo (e.g. “author:Matija”) – it automatically switches to “Everywhere” and displays the correct results from all the indexed files 6) click “Filter” – I see both “Filenames and content” and “File indexing” as clickable options, and indeed pre-selected ¹ I tried this in both `~` which is explicitly not indexed, and `~/Arhiv` which is not indexed by association of the previous not being indexed -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
