Summary: scanning in latest linux trixie takes forever. It must
scan quickly disks. I may want to operate to a single
                    disk instead of 20 disks

Describe the bug

when i run kde partition, it takes forever in some hdd drives to scan them.
while gnome-disks is instantaneous in presenting the drives.
\When i open kde partition manager, i may want to operate in a single disks
instead of waiting to scan 20 disks which some may are problematic too.
So i think this is a bug.
I dont know what else to report. i dont know why it takes so much time.
What did you expect to happen?

instantaneous to present the drives, and then it may scan more thoroughly the
one that i select to do something.
