The stuff I needed to paste in
DESCRIPTION
The layers on my screen aren't appearing.
This happened whilst I was using the animation feature. The software crashed,
and when I re-opened the project in Krita, there were no layers which I could
select from in my project. At 1st, I thought it was for the one file, but when
I tried to use other files (and reset the workspace to "Big Paint") the layers
still weren't available. I couldn't select pre-existing ones, nor could I add
any new ones with the "Add Layer" button.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
(If the animation "Alter Ego" is still there, then start here. I removed it
from Krita after I couldn't access the layers, thinking it was a file problem.
I'm going to describe my steps as literal as my actions were)
1. Try to animate (?)
2. Watch the software crash (if possible)
3. Re-open the software, and click a/the same file
OBSERVED RESULT
You may see that you cannot select/add remove any layers. They're all gone.
EXPECTED RESULT
I get access to my layers, the crash was just a small hiccup on my
computational device, and I would continue to draw stuff I'm watching from
tutorials.
