By moving the transaction from Category B to Category C, you have messed up the reconciliation of Category B. The account will still show as reconciled with a reconciled amount including that transaction. You have now removed the transaction but not changed the reconciled amount, invalidating the reconciliation. I'm actually not sure what (if any) the correct action would be. I'd be in favor of simply not allowing such a change to any reconciled transaction, but I know that's probably not realistic.
