If you are indexing with Baloo and you don't see the updated results, then the next troubleshooting step would be to repeat the test while watching "balooctl6 monitor" or do a baloosearch6... My feeling is that this behaviour is independent of whether you are doing Baloo lookup or a simple search - if you have a set of search results and change a file (delete, rename or edit it) the search results don't update to reflect the change. I don't think the bug as described is specifically Baloo, I got the same results when doing a simple search.
