Pixelated render screenshot
DESCRIPTION
As the Media Frame widget cycles through images to display, every other image
appears somewhat pixelated, as if it were scaled down using a "fast" mode
rather than a "smooth" mode. This is particular apparent with high-contrast
images, such as Kubuntu Focus's hint widget, and results in every other slide
looking ugly.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download a test image (I used
https://pixabay.com/photos/fern-leaves-green-nature-macro-10317919/).
2. Right-click an empty area of the desktop, and click "Enter Edit Mode".
3. Click "Add or Manage Widgets..."
4. Search for "media" and drag-n-drop a Media Frame widget onto the desktop.
5. In the new widget, click "Choose media..."
6. In the top bar of the settings window, click "Add Files..."
7. Select the newly downloaded image, then click "Open".
8. Click "Apply" at the bottom of the settings window, not "OK" yet.
9. In the left sidebar of the settings window, click "Behavior".
10. Modify "Change picture every:" to change pictures every 1 second. (This
will cause picture transitions even though only a single image is loaded.)
11. Click "OK".
OBSERVED RESULT
Every other time the image reloads, it appears noticeably rougher. This is hard
to see at normal size, but if you zoom in the desktop with Meta+=, it is very
obvious. Screenshots are attached.
EXPECTED RESULT
Every time the image loads, it should look the same, and should look smooth.
