--- Comment #9 from [email protected] --- I was playing around with "Enter Edit Mode" in Wayland and attempted to create the panel that holds the "task bar" and "application launcher". I tried entering "Enter Edit Mode" in Wayland and tried to "Add Panel" and then create an "Application Menu Bar", but the panel did not appear. I then moved ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc to a safe place and restarted plasma, and then attempted to "Enter Edit Mode" in Wayland and tried to "Add Panel" and then create an "Application Menu Bar", but the panel still did not appear. So I then entered "Enter Edit Mode" in Wayland and selected "Manage Desktops and Panels...", and lo-and-behold, a window titled "Manage Panels and Desktops" appeared and in that window you can clearly see the presence of the application menu bar that is NOT seen in the desktop Wayland display. I have attached an image from a cropped screen capture. So the panel created in "Enter Edit Mode" is seen by that software but the plasma software apparently doesn't recognize that taskbar. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
