My gpu is AMD 6700 XT. Another issue is even with the screen setting "Screen Tearing" enabled, it forces VSync on games. The slow cursor with limited fps is fixed with PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 and by disabling "Screen Tearing" "Allow in fullscreen windows". The cursor is slow because the screen Hz is limited to the fps used. If I increase the fps limit of a game the cursor gets smoother.
