            Bug ID: 521654
Summary: Hot-Corners & Edition Mode should behave independently
                    per screen
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First 6.7.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Edit Mode
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

DESCRIPTION
First thanks all of you to introduce in plasma 6.7 the per-screen virtual
desktops feature

In a multi-monitor setup with KDE Plasma 6.7, actions such as entering "Edit
Mode" (to add or modify widgets, panels, etc.) and using "Hot Corners" affect
all screens simultaneously.

This behavior is inconsistent with the new per-screen virtual desktops feature
introduced in Plasma 6.7, which allows each screen to operate independently.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have a multi-monitor setup with Plasma 6.7.
2. Enter "Edit Mode" on one screen (e.g., right-click on the desktop and select
"Enter Edit Mode").
3. Observe that the other screen also enters Edit Mode.
4. Configure a "Hot Corner" action (e.g., "Show Desktop") on one screen.
5. Trigger the hot corner on that screen and observe the behavior on the other
screen.

OBSERVED RESULT
All screens are globally affected by Edit Mode and Hot Corner actions. The
actions are not isolated to the screen where they are invoked.

EXPECTED RESULT
Edit Mode and Hot Corners should behave independently per screen, similar to
the per-screen virtual desktops functionality introduced in Plasma 6.7.
Ideally, the user should be able to enter Edit Mode or trigger a Hot Corner
action on one screen without affecting the other.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Fedora Linux 44
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
