Step crashes when it is closed while a simulation is running.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a simulation
2. Run it
3. Try to close it while the simulation is still running
4. Step crashes
OBSERVED RESULT
The program crashes when it is closed during a simulation.
EXPECTED RESULT
Step should save the project and close correctly.
