DESCRIPTION
When I open system preferences, either through the menu, the mouse cursor
blinks with the icon unopened. If I go to the desktop and right-click on
displays to configure them, it opens and closes on its own after a couple of
seconds.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Open systemsettings from the menu
2.  Open display settings by right-clicking on the desktop
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
1. The module won't open
2. The module closes automatically after one second.
