Unfortunately, as of two weeks ago Joshua didn't see this issue as a priority: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=506012 There's a post on KDE Discuss where someone claims to have fixed this using udev-hid-bpf, but they don't actually show what they did.
