            Bug ID: 521792
Summary: Nvidia GPU temperature sensor missing from System
                    Monitor after upgrading to 6.7.0
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First 6.7.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: CachyOS
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: System Monitor widgets
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected], [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

After updating from Plasma 6.6.x to 6.7.0, the GPU temperature sensor for my
Nvidia card has disappeared from System Monitor. It was working fine before the
update.

System: CachyOS, ksystemstats 6.7.0-1.1, libksysguard 6.7.0-1, RTX 4060 Ti

To reproduce:
1. Update Plasma to 6.7.0
2. Open System Monitor's widget settings
3. Look for a GPU temperature sensor — it's just not there anymore

I dug into this a bit before reporting, and ruled out a few obvious causes:
- nvidia-smi still reports the correct temperature (37°C), so the driver itself
is working fine
- All of ksystemstats' optional dependencies (systemd-libs, libnl,
networkmanager-qt) are installed
- The ksystemstats service starts and runs without any errors; checked via
systemctl --user status and journalctl, nothing unusual in the logs

So it looks like the daemon is running normally, it just isn't exposing the
Nvidia GPU temp sensor anymore in this version. Happy to provide any more debug
info if needed.
