Weather widget fails to load data with 'Could not load weather forecast' error
from wetter.com source
The weather widget is unable to load the forecast and displays the error
message: "Could not load weather forecast. Possibly due to a temporary
technical problem with the weather information provider." The issue persists
for more than a day.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Add the Weather widget to the desktop or panel.
2. Configure the widget to use location "Nabereschnyje Tscelny, Tatarstan, RU"
with the source "wetter.com".
3. Wait for the update interval (set to 30 minutes) or manually attempt to
refresh.
Observed result:
The widget fails to update, showing the error message. The configured location
and source are valid.
Expected result:
The widget should successfully fetch and display the weather forecast data.
Software/OS Versions:
Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.0 (or latest)
KDE Frameworks Version: (Please specify if known, or leave blank)
Qt Version: (Please specify if known, or leave blank)
Additional Information:
The issue is not resolved by restarting the widget or the system. I have
attached a screenshot of the widget configuration and the error. This may be
related to an API change or an outage on the wetter.com side that the widget
does not handle gracefully.
I have read the KDE bug reporting instructions and have searched for existing
bug reports.
