So if that offends you, that's your problem, just as I am offended because my current preference is x11 because x11 "just works" in comparison to wayland. But since kwin-x11/x11 has that issue of konqueror, kmail, falcon and others displaying a black window instead of what it should and have found no fix (supposedly a GDM issue) I'm pressed into wayland. The whole thing is reminiscent of the multiple pain points in the early KDE4 days.
