I tried that yesterday (both "dnf distro-sync" & reboots), but nothing changed
for me in krusader. I don't use the spacebar in Okular, therefore I don't know
what I should look out for not working there.

To me this screams two conclusions, the first one more likely than the second
one:

1. The issue is not specific to either krusader or Okular but a bug in a shared
component.
2. This sounds like a bug in KDE's or even Qt's hotkey/accelerator handling

As for Qt being a possible culprit instead of KDE's base libs: the update that
installed the KDE/Plasma upgrade to 6.7 also pulled in Qt updates. That's why I
wouldn't rule out Qt.

Have you reported this to Okular yet? If not, please do so. We should get more
cross-project eyes on this in order to get a better grasp on where to report it
properly.

I would also consider filing another issue against whatever component does
keyboard shortcuts in the libraries if there was more evidence it's actually
related to it.

I've also tried searching through open bug reports for potentially related
issues. Here are the ones I've found:

Commander's Quick search in Plasma 6.7.0
