            Bug ID: 522080
Summary: Configure Marknote takes forever to load with more
                    fonts installed.
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Marknote
      Version First 1.6.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: General
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected], [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
When opening "Configure Marknote", it's slowed down tramendously from even
responding as it's doing a blocking loop through the fonts, and takes
increasingly longer the more fonts you have installed. With my ~7,700 fonts, it
takes about 2~3 minutes to load the settings, all the while the application
stops responding suggesting the blocking loop.
It also slows down, again, once loaded and activating the font selection
drop-down, causing an application delay when displaying and closing the
drop-down selection list.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install 1000, 2000, 4,000, and/or 8,000 fonts.
2. Open Configure Marknote from menu.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
Loading of configuration window takes longer and longer the more fonts you have
installed on the system, either in system or user ~/.local/share/fonts

EXPECTED RESULT
Configuration loads without delay and buffer loads fonts rather than blocking
loop loading fonts.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I noticed this after I found a similar problem with a widget that used a
particular module in panel-colorizer, causing this same blocked-looping effect
loading fonts.
