            Bug ID: 522111
Summary: The "Keyboard navigation" option made me think
                    plasma-keyboard was completely broken
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: Plasma Keyboard
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: openSUSE
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
I switched it on because I thought it enables arrow keys to navigate input
fields (the name is ambiguous!). But with it on, I couldn't use plasma-keyboard
at all:

* Some mouse clicks were working and entering letters, but the keyboard's UI
was completely frozen
* Entered letters were uppercase regardless of the Shift state
* Clicking Shift or the layout switching key or entering multiple characters
closed the keyboard within a couple seconds, which led me to believe it was
crashing silently.
* It took seconds to show up every time

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable Plasma Keyboard for use with a mouse
2. Enable "Keyboard navigation"
3. Switch to an app that accepts virtual keyboard input, such as KWrite

OBSERVED RESULT
Listed in the description

EXPECTED RESULT
* "Keyboard navigation" either does not break mouse interaction, or makes it
explicitly unsupported by showing a big orange banner when the user attempts
it.
* Ideally, the option is renamed to something less ambiguous, such as "Enable
control via a physical keyboard".
