ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It can be very helpful to be able to fully zoom on a thumbnail to determine
details or suitability to keep etc. Details are often required for
classification (i.e. move to folder)- where perhaps a team logo or a person of
interest is not possible to see at max thumbnail size.. It may be that this is
a different module, but it is possible to keypress delete in this view, or to
right-click Move To Album. So presumably the file references and associations
to the folders are there. Likewise, its possible to alter metadata with mouse
clicks, right click to assign tagsm scan for faces etc. That is, in almost all
ways, this behaves in focused mode as it does in thumbnail mode. Alt-Enter
references the parent folder, which is weird. But otherwise the core functions
are there. I can right or left arrow to index to the next or prior image etc.
There are many cases, especially with a high res monitor full screen, where max
thumbnail size is still small for a task, and so often I need to go into the
full frame mode to see core features. It just adds steps for me to have to
unzoom that image, and drag the thumbnail, then zoom back. Not a huge problem,
but if this is a relatively simple enhancement, I dont see anything but upside.
The caveat in this is- if any options that are specific to this mode (i.e.
rotate image) are active, you could just present a dialog on a drag event that
says you have dirty ops that need to be saved or cancelled...
