DESCRIPTION
For user privacy or security an option is needed to totally avoid sharing a
user's presence data, as is available on other Matrix clients. I can see there
is already an option to disabled typing notifications, but the option to not
share read receipts is also needed. It prevents silent delivery
vulnerabilities that allow bad actors to monitor users' location and login
status, as well as more mundane harassers or stalkers keeping track of when a
victim is online.
