DESCRIPTION
The new selector for special characters in the virtual Plasma Keyboard does not
work on the first letter in any conversation in Signal. Subsequent letters work
just fine, the issue is only with the first letter.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable keyboard in System Settings -> Keyboard -> Virtual Keyboard
2. Open Signal
3. Press and keep press any letter in any conversation
4. Press and keep press again any letter in any conversation
OBSERVED RESULT
The first letter does not open the special character menu and instead inserts
many times the pressed letter. The second time works as expected.
EXPECTED RESULT
In both times, the special character menu should be shown.
