            Bug ID: 522179
Summary: Weather widget in panel does not show temperature next
                    to icon
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First 6.6.5
       Reported In:
          Platform: NixOS
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Weather widget
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

There is a setting to show the temperature over or next to the icon.

But this seems to only work when the widget is placed on the desktop, not on
the panel.

Selecting any of the 2 settings has no effect, there is no text shown.

As the weather widget works otherwise amazingly and is just the cherry on top
the complex weather data system, this is really sad. it is useful and pretty
essential to have. Win11 has one preinstalled on all Laptops as far as I know.

I am using the DWD / German weather provider service, station is "Berlin
Alexanderplatz".

I see resolved duplicates, but as this is still happening by default I dont
think it is fixed. Also they seem to be Plasma5 and KDE4.

Operating System: NixOS 26.11
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.0
Kernel Version: 6.18.35 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
