Fabian <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] | |m --- Comment #1 from Fabian <[email protected]> --- It would be nice if *ANYTHING* in KDE Connect worked programmatically. I'm currently trying to get information from my phone to my laptop in any way at all, but KDE Connect seems to be perfectly restricted to not allow this, despite having so many features and despite Android having so many ways of apps interacting with each other. Clipboard sync is broken in modern Android. Pre-set commands can't have arguments. The app doesn't seem to care about intents, doesn't have launcher shortcuts or widgets. KDE's "media player" tray menu shows the song that's currently playing on my phone, but I have no idea how to get that from a script, otherwise I would have created an empty audio file with my data as the file name. There's no kdeconnect-cli argument from getting a file from the phone's storage, only for sending one. And so on, everything is just perfectly blocked. Is that intended? Are we not supposed to automate in that direction for some reason? If yes, why not? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
