            Bug ID: 522229
           Summary: Task Switcher: mouse wheel scroll always moves
                    selection forward, cannot go to previous window
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.7.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: tabbox
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When the Task Switcher (Alt+Tab) is open, scrolling the mouse wheel in
either direction always moves the selection forward to the next window.
It is no longer possible to navigate backward to the previous window
using the mouse wheel. This worked correctly before a recent system
update. Pacman reports the update as kwin (6.6.5-4 -> 6.7.0-3) and then
(6.7.0-3 -> 6.7.1-1), it worked correctly in 6.6.5.

Here is also another report about it from the CachyOS forums:
https://discuss.cachyos.org/t/task-switcher-mouse-scroll-direction-always-moves-forward-cannot-switch-to-previous-window/31861

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open several applications
2. Press Alt+Tab to open the Task Switcher
3. Scroll the mouse wheel up, then scroll it down

OBSERVED RESULT
Both scroll directions move the selection forward to the next window;
scrolling up never moves to the previous window.

EXPECTED RESULT
Scrolling down should move to the next window; scrolling up should
move to the previous window.
